It's been a super ride but I'm about to wrap up my time here in Warsaw, Poland. I've lived and taught here for 1.5 years. It's been a fantastic ride, for the most part. Poland is an English teacher's dream when it comes to professional schools as well as the sheer abundance of of motivated individual students one can find. Warsaw has been an amazing place to live! Summers are nice, typically between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit, but sometimes getting as high as mid 90s! Winters are cold but not as much as before (This last winter was typically between 25-41 degrees Fahrenheit, coldest day was 3 degrees F). As a California girl it was a bit too cold for my taste, but people from other parts of America that normally have cold winter temperatures will have no problem in this climate. Not to mention, Poland has a considerably low cost of living compared to many other surrounding European countries. If you are American and are coming with US dollars, you definitely could live quite well here, as currently the Polish Zloty is around 3.7 to 1 USD.
